I wasn't sure if I'd ever be able to leave this review but the anniversary of my Betsy bee just passed and it felt right to do so. Betsy had been on at home hospice care for cancer and she told me she was ready to go. Dr. Reeves was so kind and was able to come out the next day which I appreciate so much. I cannot imagine loading my girl into a car and taking her away from home to say goodbye. Me and my husband were able to hold her as she passed. We had just moved to OKC from out of state with our precious 16 yr old Malinois when we had to make the difficult decision to say good bye. We knew we didn't want to go to a vet that we had no relationship with, so we had to trust online reviews with a very difficult decision. My baby was in pain and the doctor helped him. He was so kind and gentle. Buddy didn't have to be put "To Sleep" in my veterinarian's chaotic office full of scary dogs. I will be forever grateful. My baby went to sleep calmly, at home, in his favorite spot with people who loved and cared for him. God Bless Paws at Peace.
Dr. Reeves has helped us twice and we will forever be grateful. He brought with him peace, knowledge, understanding, patience, love, empathy, everything you would need to help your four legged family member move on. Please have confidence in his services and his love for animals.
In such an awful moment of my life, Paws at Peace was a wonderful choice. Dr. Reeves quickly responded to my initial call and came out the same day to lay my beautiful Marley to rest. Dr. Reeves was kind, caring, compassionate and empathetic. He didnt rush anything, listened to my stories and was so gentle and kind with her. She fell asleep in my arms. He prayed over her and gave me a hug. I was allowed as much time with her as I needed. He is worth is weight in gold and is an angel in Earth. I cannot thank him enough.
