RecommendedWe have used Paws and Claws for years for our cats who have passed away. They have handled their passing with great care and detail. They received great care all the years we had them. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them with future pets.
Dr. Birken and staff are the greatest! They keep updated with your pet and keep you well informed on how to treat it. My Lucy was a special needs dog (epileptic and pancreatic problems) and I sometimes needed after hours advise, which I always received. Eventually she needed to be put to rest and this was done there in a most compassionate way. In short, I highly recommend and will be back if and when I ever get another pet!
The staff here is amazing. They Literally saved my dogs life , not only 1 but 2 times . Dr. Spaniol and her team will forever hold a very special place in my heart for everything that they have done and continue to do for my sweet Rosie girl. If your looking for a vet that cares about each one of its patients , takes the time to anwser your questions , adress your concerns , and makes you and your pet feel welcome. This is the place to choose!

My family and I recently moved to the area. My 7 year old minpin snook was looking so good for the past two days. The staff at Paws and Claws were extremely friendly and welcoming. The techs handled Snook with care and showed great experience. I would definitely recommend Dr. Melissa who was clear and concise when telling us her diagnosis of Snook. We decided to make them our family vet. We look forward to annual check ups. Prices are reasonable as well.
Dr Spaniol, Katie, and Casey were awesome! Our new puppy, Powder loves Paws & Claws!!!
