My sibling was hospitalized at the Pavilion a few times and every time he was not properly discharged and setting him up for failure and causing him to return due to lack of services. I took him back a few days ago due to mental health deteriorating and they denied admission because he “did not meet criteria” despite my sibling being paranoid and suicidal. I was there about 3 years ago and made some good progress with my condition. I went there 10 days ago and I was on the verge of calling the police. They refused to let me use the walker that was designed just for me and gave me a dollar store pos. They took my medicine records that came with me and basically through them out the window.. My suggestion. RUN! I'm looking at an Attorney to see if there is any recourse that I can get.
The Holyname Hospital Pavillion staff were compassionate the knowledgeable of the psychiatric medicine stillset. They helped me discover things about myself that I was not aware of that help pave the way to my healing process. Don't expect the healing process to be easy. They give you a considerable amount of time to reflect after the group sessions. The healing process is a two way avenue. You get what you put into it. If you're expecting mints at the bedside and dove shaped towels on your bed, this isn't the place for you.... read more
Worst mental health "care" I've ever received. Most patient time is spent sitting in one medium size room watching daytime television. Two, if lucky three 20-30 minute group therapy sessions between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, the times you are not allowed out of the the t.v. room save for supervised bathroom breaks. My medication wasn't taken seriously, not when I was there nor when I left, sent home without the medicine I entered the hospital having.
