I’ve been seeing Dr. Mitaru as my PCP for over 6 years now and I can’t say enough positive things about him as a provider. He is knowledgeable, caring and pragmatic. He has listened to my concerns over the years and taken them seriously- often providing far superior care than some specialists I’ve been referred to. In a world where being a patient can feel like a churn and burn cycle, Dr. Mitaru will take the time to make sure you are heard and genuinely valued as a human being.

I've been a patient of Dr Mitaru for several years now and I find him exceptionally knowledgeable and thoughtful in how he presents his recommendations. I'm surprised at a few of the reviews especially since they don't really have anything to do with his service as a physician. If you're in the room with him you get his very attentive and digestable expertise that always makes so much sense. He's also very personable which I feel is equally as important as being a good physician.
In my opinion Terrible service. Getting prescriptions refilled in a timely manner is a joke. If you want to be continually running out and spending days without necessary meds, even after multiple calls from you and your pharmacy to your doctor, Mitru is the dr for you.
I made a new patient appointment back in February of this year, and the soonest appointment I could get was June 24th. It's coming up soon and we're having to leave town for a week during that time, and I called to reschedule and the SOONEST they could get me in is December. The lady on the phone told me that their hands are tied because doctors can only do a certain number of new patient appointments per month. What an absurd excuse, no doubt it's a policy implemented by Providence, not a state law. They tie their own hands... read more
