Unfortunately, as with so many of these larger hospital facilities- getting access to the Dr vs having to deal with the unhelpful and unpleasant scheduling staff is becoming virtually impossible. I was recommended Dr Guntur by another Dr, when I called up with a friendly tone asking if the Dr specialized in a particular type of migraine, I was met with a surly and unhelpful response. It took a little longer than expected to get this appointment, but I’m glad I waited and didn’t just see any doctor. Dr Gunter is an excellent doctor. She has empathy for her patients and explains everything so throughly. I am having issues with my ankle for the last few years. I was so nervous about the EMG but she walked me through it. I did cry a little, but she kept telling me to hold on to her hand and take out all the pain holding her hand and if i needed breaks or just couldn’t take it anymore she would stop. Office staff lazy! Doctor indifferent, won't answer questions!!! What the hell!! Prefers on line visits to actual in person visit? What?????? How can a reputable doctor do a neurological exam on line? Discusting!!
Dr Pavani Guntur is a great neurologist who really seems to care and work with you to help with any issues you may have. I had a previous neurologist that I wasn’t too sure about, and after one video call with her I knew she was the neurologist I needed. Very easy to talk to and doesn’t seem to mind at all spending some extra time with me if I have any other issues/concerns she may be able to help me with .
