I was very impressed and appreciative meeting Dr. Guntur on a video visit regarding my mother who is bedridden. She did the best thorough examination she could to assess for cognitive concerns with questions, watching her walk and sit on video, conducting light touch tests, cross body tests, etc. I never felt rushed and we spent an hour on the video call together. She was empathetic and very smart and truly invested in helping figure out what was going on. Thank you for your guidance Dr. Guntur!
Unfortunately, as with so many of these larger hospital facilities- getting access to the Dr vs having to deal with the unhelpful and unpleasant scheduling staff is becoming virtually impossible. I was recommended Dr Guntur by another Dr, when I called up with a friendly tone asking if the Dr specialized in a particular type of migraine, I was met with a surly and unhelpful response. It took a little longer than expected to get this appointment, but I’m glad I waited and didn’t just see any doctor. Dr Gunter is an excellent doctor. She has empathy for her patients and explains everything so throughly. I am having issues with my ankle for the last few years. I was so nervous about the EMG but she walked me through it. I did cry a little, but she kept telling me to hold on to her hand and take out all the pain holding her hand and if i needed breaks or just couldn’t take it anymore she would stop. Office staff lazy! Doctor indifferent, won't answer questions!!! What the hell!! Prefers on line visits to actual in person visit? What?????? How can a reputable doctor do a neurological exam on line? Discusting!!
