After having a bad experience with doctors in North Carolina who left me basically paralyzed from the rib cage down Dr. Montero performed surgery, giving me some resemblance to normality.I am forever grateful to Dr. Monteiro for not only his skill, but his kindness.
I went in to have my neck fixed and he broke it. I am almost two years out and my life will never be the same again. I live with pain and constant injections and epidurals in my neck. We have spent SO MUCH MONEY due to the disaster he left me with. Before surgery I had issues with the right side and now I have issues with both sides of my body (upper half). I was a patient of Dr. Garcia, he has since retired. I was referred to Dr. Momteiro of the Lierly group to Dr Monteiro since Dr Garcia retired and I needed traditional back surgery. One of the office people called me a said Dr Monteiro turned me down and would not accept me as a patient. When I ask why she told me there was no reason given. I find this VERY rude, unprofessional. This is not the way to treat a person.........................
Dr. Monteiro agreed to see me on very short notice and agreed to take on my surgical need on even shorter notice. I was close to being unable to walk. Dr. Monteiro performed the spine surgery I needed and gave me back my ability to walk. I have much muscle building ahead of me but the surgery was so good and I have had no need for pain medication since the procedure was performed 19 days ago. I appreciate his skills more each day. I sincerely recommend Dr. Monteiro.
I was referred to Dr Monterio by his affiliate hospital ED. His scheduler called me saying I don’t need immediate surgery and that he refused to see me. Meanwhile I am bedridden and have been for a month.
Dr. Monteiro did my L3, L4, L5 spinal fusion 13 days ago. I was only on pain pills for 1 week. I completely pain free. For the 1st time in a year I can look up at the sky or down on the ground and not suffer agonizing pain. He is an amazing surgeon and my hero.
Avoid this man at all cost. You will not be able to walk if he touches you. I've met 6 other people he's ruined after he destroyed my life.
