I have had their pizza there and it is phenomenal. I am Italian and I love pizza and had many many many pizzas in my life. I'm 64 years old so I know what I'm talking about. The pizza is just some of the best I've ever had and that saying something in Chicago. I also just tried their club submarine sandwich and it was incredibly awesome. This sandwich was so tasty and extremely big but most of all tasted fantastic. I'm so satisfied with these people because they are so kind that I am a believer for life. They are that good. ... read more

This is one of the best meat markets in Chicago! Paulina Meat Market is the place to get prime meats and cuts. They have a great selection of sausages, all kinds of cuts of meats and international goodies. Whenever I am in the neighborhood, I try to make a trip to the meat market. It is a great place to get your special occasion cuts, hams, turkeys, etc. It is worth a special trip for a special occasion. I recommend it for its freshness, quality and selection.

Tottaly Unprofessional, Way Overpriced – For the prices they have, and that is higher that Wholefoods and Fox & Obel, I was expecting better service, polite workers and definitely not to be charged one, highest price, for the different types of sausages, with the different price. That kind of mistake is unacceptable with lousy service, I wont go there anymore.

Overpriced and Unprofessional – The new owner raised the prices about 20% while decreasing the quality and service. They sold me brown smelly meat and wouldn't refund it even though I had been a loyal customer for years. Try another butcher and save your money and quite possibly your health.

From veal brats to legs of lamb, this is Lakeview's throwback to the old-school butcher. – In Short Heavy with the scent of raw meat, this nostalgic market-which is located one block north from its original locale-is the go-to spot for carnivorous staples, atypical air-dried, smoked and cooked sausages and less-common game. A super-long deli case stocks everything from sirloin and ribeye to hickory-smoked bacon, turducken brats and antibiotic and hormone-free turkey, while refrigerated cases tempt shoppers to impulse buy.
