Love Paula's! Paula's totally rocks for authentic pancakes! Lots of possible combinations so you never get bored, and the service is terrific.
Wonderful pancakes On our first trip to Solvang the first things my husband and I read about were the restaurants. Paula's Pancake House was highly spoken of and it did not disappoint. Their Danish pancakes were soooo wonderful. They're made thin and light so you don't feel stuffed and sleepy instead of feeling nice and perky, a perfect way and place to start out your day wine tasting or sightseeing.
Milkshakes You know how Carls Jr claims to have REAL milkshakes? Well come here and order one. You can watch them hand mixing real scopes of ice cream with milk, the result is really quite amazing. The dutch breakie food here is well cooked and delish. If you have a sweet tooth get the waffles a la mode. I always get the eggs benedict, but I hear everything on the menu is good.
