I don’t believe an adolescent pediatrician should be at the HELM of individuals coming inpatient to the hospital at adult ages trying to be “my role is to save lives” vs. getting to know the idiosyncrasies that could truly help in the long run of EACH INDIVIDUAL PATIENT. She may mean well. However the true trauma that occurs under her “care” (and standard “protocol) seems to continue the harm done. She is kind. Yet, I don’t feel she is versed in individualized care. Dr Cody is professional, compassionate and has a very good sense of humor in awkward situations. My daughter enjoys her visits with Dr Cody and has referred friends.
She's my doctor and she's actually perfection. Like she talks to you as a human and not a doctor, and genuinely cares about you and how you feel. Emotionally and physically. She's a great woman and I love her as my doctor.
Great understanding, more than competent, experienced, genuine doctor for adolescents.
