I've been a patient of Dr Schmidt for 26 years and never had a bad experience.
Dr. Schmidt is one of the best doctors I've ever had. The problem I have is with myInsurance provider requiring 14 days for a pre authorization!
Always top quality care.
I've had Dr. Schmidt as my primary physician at least 20 years. He has always provided exceptional medical care, is very personable and does not hesitate to refer me to specialists when warranted. I've been so pleased with him that now my brother, sister-in-law, and brother-in-law have him as their primary doctor and feel the same way.

In the past I have felt unheard or not believed. But this time he showed real concern and I could tell he was really thinking about what we can do to figure out what's happening to my body. He took in all of my suggestions and concerns. He got the orders and referrals I felt I needed and he agreed with me that my condition was a real concern and I felt assured that we are going to figure this thing out. I have been a long time patient with Dr. Schmidt. He always treats me with respect, listen to my concerns and finds the best treatment plan for me. He is by far one of the best primary care physician at Franciscan Health.
