With P.W. Kaiser being the insurance agent for our townhouse community for 30+ years, I thought the best way to make sure I had individual coverage for my townhouse that complimented the master policy they provided to our association was to work with the same insurance agency. We held a commercial building policy with this company (Badger Mutual through Kaiser and Associates) for over 10 years and had a fine experience with them until right before the end. As background, we never had a claim, paid all of our bills on time, and we stuck with the company even though rates were not the lowest and the renewal process was a bit cumbersome. As repayment for our loyalty, John Kaiser put us up for non-renewal--for 8 months down the road at the actual end of our policy! The reason? In his mind we were slow... read more
