Dr. Shonka is an excellent doctor. He is knowledgeable, caring and warm. i like the people in his office, as well.
After suffering with the 2nd ingrown toenail in less than 1 year, I was hoping for a more permanent solution to my problem. Dr. Shonka offered a solution, & effected it that same day! When I had this procedure before, or one very like it, I had twilight sleep, pain, & had to wear a boot for a week! Of course, this was several years ago. Despite being deeply imbedded, I was able to wear my street shoes home, replace the dressing with a band-aid after 1 day, & no pain after the first night!
