Awful “ bedside manner” and dismissive of my pain and issues. I was told I have to suck it up and deal with the pain, was given few solutions to manage pain until I pushed for an answer. He also used the F word casually in our conversation. Very inappropriate and awful experience as a woman.

Dr. protomastro is my superstar. this is the first time in my life I've experienced chronic pain, and it literally knocked me off my feet, it was hard to concentrate or even think straight. I went to a different doctor because I was out of state and he was talking about arm surgery, and when I got back to connecticut, came to see this rockstar who attributed the pain to a pinched nerve in my neck. Beautiful modern and comfortable facility with the best care. Dr. Protomastro is a very skilled surgeon and a caring and excellent doctor. Highly recommend!
If I could give ten stars it wouldn't be enough. Dr Protomastro repaired/operated on my badly torn rotator cuff (two tendons torn completely away from the bone, a torn bicep and torn labrum. I honestly never felt any pain after the operation and am now almost three months healing and receiving physical therapy and with five anchors attaching everything back together am still not having any pain. Truly an amazing surgeon.
Dr. Protomastro is a highly skilled and exemplary surgeon - after the reverse shoulder replacement he performed in February I am now playing tennis and bike riding! I am so very happy that he gave me the ability to do the things that I enjoy!
