I am disappointed with Dr.P and with WVU behavioral health. In May of 2024 I was admitted into the psychiatric ward at RMH due to sleep deprivation and an adverse reaction to the antipsychotic drug I was prescribed. After being released I called Dr. P's office to see when my next scheduled appointment was. That's when I was told the doctor did not want to see me anymore. I am still in complete shock that a receptionist working at a place specializing in mental health would have the audacity to speak to patients the way she did. I tried to schedule an appointment today and have not been in a very good place. She informed me that I was not allowed to be a patient due to not coming to an appointment scheduled in 2020 and “wasting a whole hour of a doctors time” and telling me how inconsiderate I was with a lengthy lecture.
