I've been a patient of Dr. Nguyen for a couple of years. He's assisted me with both removals and implants. He really is great at helping you understand what needs to be done before he proceeds. I really don't think it can get better than this. I am one of those people who are extremely difficult to numb (I'm taking top 5% and thats conservative) and my dentist made sure to refer me to someone who can handle it when I needed a root canal. Dr. Nguyen took it slow, hours in fact, to ensure I remained comfortable, was properly numb, and felt safe. We blasted music together and he told me stories of his NYU days and many others. Hard for a patient to evaluate the technical aspects of a root canal, but when I saw the xray of the one Dr. Nguyen performed next to one performed by another dentist, even my untrained eye could see a difference. My tooth was a complex job, but he had the advanced diagnostic instrumentation available to find that calcified canal. He is great with the needle, so scaredy-cats like myself have nothing to fear. Heidi, the office manager, did a great job navigating my insurance.
