Well, if I could get in to see him.and not keep waiting I would hope I have a good experience. My PCP referred me specifically to Dr. West because of the issues I'm having. I waited 3 weeks for an appointment. No big deal, I'm a new patient. They called to cancel the appointment because he got called to surgery. Again, I get it. No big deal. I went to Dr. West initially because of an on-going problem that other doctors completely dismissed. He was the first to truly listen and take the time to figure out what was happening. Dr. West performed a surgical procedure that completely resolved the issue. Dr. West cares about his patients and I trust him completely. I really appreciate his approach and expertise. He also has a quiet, calm demeanor that puts me at ease.
Dr. West is outstanding. The first pregnancy can't be nerve-racking, but Dr. West always made me feel relaxed. I can't thank him and his team enough for being so amazing. I hope he doesn't retire anytime soon, so he can deliver my next pregnancy. Wait time was never an issue. Maybe once I had to wait an extra 30 mins, but that was because he was delivering someones baby.
After my checkup Dr. West notified me that I had abnormal pap results and needed to come back in for a test to check for cervical issues. One month later I received a bill for the test which was actually around $2,000. I felt that I was lead on and was not told that my insurance may not cover this test. My test results were normal and I'm stuck paying a hospital bill.
