Dr. Lemen is that magical balance of no-nonsense and compassionate. He will always be honest and open about whatever you’re facing, but his bedside manner is still human and compassionate. I’ve now been a patient of his for two pregnancies, one with incredibly difficult complications, and have felt tremendously respected and cared for especially with this most difficult case. I trust him and his expertise, and know he’ll be honest with me (but with care). Highly recommend.
I would not recommend this doctor to any female. He took a biopsy and told me he would contact me immediately after the results were in to discuss our next steps in my treatment. I was in excruciating pain and my condition had started 9 months prior. His exact words were, “I don’t know how to treat you because I don’t know what you have”. The biopsy was on 1/10/24 and the results were in on 1/16/24. I was referred to Dr. Lemen for my first pregnancy as I was labeled high risk. I assumed I was in the right hands. He always reassured me that my worries were normal things every pregnant woman went through. I complained of terrible back pain, lack of fetal movement, pitting and the high levels of protein in my urine I saw in the labs. Everything was brushed off.
