Dr. Maurer is the best of the best. 27yrs ago he removed a 5cm brain tumor (5 days after I had C-section) This man could do no wrong in our eyes. I called his old office (in Rochester) to get another appointment as I’m having some problems and found he was no longer there. My husband and I googled him and found him in Johnston City. It will be a two hour drive, but that’s ok. If he it was a 10 hr drive, we would still make it!
This was the best Doctor visit I have ever had. Very pleasant demeanor, spent 40 minutes with me. Checked areas no other doctors considered part of my back pain. Planned the next step. Dr Maurer eludes confidence and trust. The receptionist was great. Handling all my next step appointments. His assistant was also wonderful. I am very hopeful Dr Maurer will offer ne a solution to my ongoing pain. Praise God for finding Dr. Maurer
Dr Maurer performed my back surgery in May 2012. He told me I would never have any issues and would not need pt afterward. He was absolutely correct. I think he may remember me as at one time I lived across the hall from his mother in Fairport. I never connected his last name to her, only that she was proud her son was a doctor. In my opinion, he was the best of the best neurologist in Rochester. I heard that he retired; however, I did not know he had moved to Johnson City. Hello again Dr Maurer.
