Dr. Sapia is an excellent cardiologist. He is empathetic, engaging, caring, listens to your concerns and highly competant. He is a true partner in my health. He is a rare find and I am lucky to have him on my health team.
I have only seen Dr. Sapia a few times but during those times he was very professional and what I like most about him he actually listens to you when your telling him what's wrong. Alot of doctors these days don't take the time to really listen to their patients. Dr. Sapia checks out everything and makes sure he knows exactly what's going on with you. I would recommend him to anyone that I know.

Dr Sapia enhanced my husband's life tremendously. My husband had 2 stents, put in by a doctor in Mt Sinai. The first stent, they caused cardiac tamponade. He almost died! He had complications. He couldn't breathe, had pain in the chest, arm, tired. We switched to Dr Sapia and he fixed it all!! My 55 year old husband is back to normal. Dr. Sapia is both competent and kind. He found my problem in an angiogram. If not for his skill in finding the issue, and that he immediately found me a great cardiac thoracic surgeon I may not be writing this. I needed open heart surgery. He is conscientious, smart and has outstanding communication skills. He calls me back. He answers the portal. I am so grateful to have him as a doctor. He is a rarity.
