Vinoteca is Crapo Teca There is a reason this place is closed. Theoretically it is going to open up with a new vision. Let's hope that vision is one of intelligence nad caring about the customer. Quite possibly the worst service experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Disinterested does not begin to describe it. Order never placed, wine list out of date and wines not available. Vinoteca Has Awesome Escolar! Vinoteca had escolar (aka butterfish) as their "swimmer of the day" fish entree and it was SPECTACULAR!!! I love escolar raw in sushi and this evening I discovered I like it cooked, as well. Service was excellent and so were the side dishes (sauteed veggies, creamed spinach and french fries).
