First of all, the staff at this office, minus Dr. Paul Irra, were fantastic with us. The staff was polite, helpful, and communicative. The doctor was the complete opposite. I get to work with all kinds of doctors in my line of work and most of them are amazing people. Dr. Paul Irra had no patience with our kindergarten-aged child, was rough during exams, was condescending when I tried to ask questions to understand what was going on, guessed at diagnosis without ordering reasonable imaging or tests to confirm or deny his hyp... read more

Wish I had better things to say, my son has asthma therefore every time he has a respiratory infection he needs anti biotics. He started out giving him them but not sure what changed because I took him in one one and they only gave him steroids which do not cure an infection. He ended up in the ER the next week with pneumonia! This is the second time my son ended up in the ER with pneumonia because of his neglect, if you need a doctor that you want results with do not come here.

My son was prescribed a steroid cream for a rash on his face to use for 7 days. His 1 year wellness checkup was 6 days later & received a chicken pox vaccine. He ended up in ER that night & 2 days later developed a mild chicken pox reaction. Took him to see Irra & he said he has never seen this before & probably just a "virus" and since he had a dermatologist apt coming up to just see them. Come to find out that if taking steroid meds, vaccines are not to be given. Pure Negligence. Thanks DR!

We've been with him for a year now, I was ok, with everything, until my baby was sick every time we went in it was always a "virus" never a specific issue. not a cold or flu. just a virus. Once he was very sick and they said to set up an appointment for the next day. Not to just bring him in nor did they tell me what could help him in the meantime. Do not get me started on the nurse that gives the shots. She is extremely aggressive, she sliced his leg while injecting my son saying he bumped her.
