Developed a bunion in my 30’s and my primary said, “No pain? leave it alone.” Fast forward 35 years and that foot started radiating pain over the whole foot. Dr. Kim explained quite thoroughly that the bunion could be the culprit but that a secondary joint (created by years of not treating the bunion) could be the cause. He then explained the 2 surgeries.
