My experience with this doctor was not what I had hoped for. I found his communication style to be curt and not especially warm or welcoming, which made it difficult for me to feel comfortable sharing information. While he may be knowledgeable in his field, I left feeling unheard. I believe a more patient-centered approach would have made a significant difference.

Very unprofessional, negligent, and uncaring. If I could give 0 stars, I would! I went for a simple procedure to remove a kidney stone. The hospital’s last procedures are scheduled at 5:00 and the hospital told him to co r at 5. He said he was going to come at 6:00. Then he had to reschedule it for the next day so I had to stay overnight and pay for it because he didn’t come at 5. My overnight stay wasn’t necessary. Great he was the only dr that discovered I had a pituitary tumor.
I had a pre-op appointment with Dr. Ross Cohen on May 16 for a procedure that was scheduled well in advance for June 19. I arranged time off work specifically for this procedure and planned accordingly. However, just today—only a few days before the scheduled date—I received a call from his office informing me that the appointment had to be rescheduled. The next available date? worst office ever, dealing with life threating issues and no one calls with test results, no one returns voice mail. very long waiting room times, they just dont care about patients
I went in for a scheduled appointment and they refused to see me.
I had a cyst that returned within one and a half years after another doctor removed it. That original failed procedure cost me multiple visits, $1700 plus dollars, and a 30 minute surgery with a lot of pain in a “surgery center.” I was referred to Dr. Shasha by my PCP and expected a similar run-around. However, I was blown away when Dr. Shasha walked into the room, shook my hand, and said let’s get this cyst out. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer Jan. 2007. Thanks to Dr. Bashein I'm cancer free today. I'm 82 and have PSA test every 6 months. If you need a Urologist I recommend Dr. Bashein.
