I spent 10 years in surgical training, developing the technical skills I would use for a career in Minimally Invasive and Liver and Pancreas Surgery. My real education, however, came over the last 15 years of my practice where I have learned to apply these skills individually to patients. Each patient presents a unique set of challenges, both medical and social. Meeting my patients and taking the time to understanding them and their desires and expectations ultimately help assure that they get the best outcome possible.

Dr. Hansen and his team saved my life! I had a tubular adenoma (tumor). He and his team performed a “Whipple”. I am 59, cancer free and as healthy as I’ve ever been. He is the best in my book!
Excellent bed side manner. Makes you feel comfortable and explains, results and procedures and future appts with clarity so you can understand. Makes you feel like he really cares about your health and well being. So glad he was referred by Dr. Kim Swartz as being one of the best in his field. Would highly recommend him.
