Dr Carothers is the type of physician I have hoped to find for years, yet thought no longer existed. He takes the time to listen and understand the patient’s concerns as an individual, not simply based on clinical protocols. Dr Carothers practices conventional western medicine with an undertone of eastern medicine that allows him to treat the whole patient with both professionalism and compassion. I followed Dr. Carothers from ADC Cedar Bend in Austin, Tx. to Leander, TX. because he actually cares about your health and well-being. He gives you alternatives to taking medication unless he is forced to. He knows being dependent on medication is not always good for your internal organs. He remembers little health issues that you forgot you had mentioned to him on your last visit and he doesn't judge you. He just gets you on the right course for recovery. Thanks, Dr. Carothers
