I cannot possibly recommend Paul CANTIN high enough. He is an absolute blessing when it comes to buying a used car. I had an accident and had my car total two weeks ago and have been looking every single day eight hours a day for almost 2 straight weeks and I’ve experienced everything from liars to cheats to excessive fees and everything in between. A succession of odd to borderline-rude interactions; prospective buyers, do your due diligence! - My wife and I had called in advance to arrange a meeting at 10:40 am, followed by a pre-purchase inspection for a vehicle with a local mechanic at 11 am. Sold me a 2001 Toyota Echo. Had minor problems and even cut me a cheaper deal for it. Very easy to work with and haven’t had any major problems with my echo since I’ve bought it off Mr. Canton, would buy another car from him if I indeed needed another car.

Mr Cantin is old-school, straightforward, and transparent about his costs and margins. It was refreshing to do business with him. His prices were pretty firm but he sold me an 07 Matrix at a fair deal, and so far I’m very pleased with it. He really doesn’t stock low quality cars, the older Toyotas and Hondas on his lot have a lot of life left on them at a fair price. No dealers fees either, the price is the price.

This guy yelled at me while I was trying to work with my bank to process a loan on a vehicle to buy from him because of mistakes he continued making on forms and documents, and refused to meet me with a helpful attitude. I drove an hour to come look a vehicle with him and when I decided to buy it and HE makes mistakes on the form and yells at ME because my bank needs it reprinted... I walked out.
