A+ Dr. my son Ed loves going to Dr Martin. A+ bedside manner.
Dr. Martin saw my toddler for cold symptoms that kept him out of daycare and required doctor clearance to return. Although Dr. Martin was friendly and professional, he spent the entire appt talking about the allergies that he was convinced our son had and barely addressed his current cold symptoms. He even his photos on his phone of allergy medicine recommendations for children to inform us, which felt odd. I consider my son lucky to have Dr Martin as his primary care Physician. He is always a calming presence and goes out of his way to share his own personal experiences as a parent to make you feel better. He is a kind, helpful, and dedicated Doctor and everyone on staff there follows suit. We've also seem other Dr's in the practice in a pinch and all of them have been lovely as well.
We were so excited to have Dr. Martin until our son was about 15 months old. My son was feverish and constantly crying. We took him in and without even examining our son, he diagnosed him with hand, foot, mouth disease because all the other kids were getting it. Sent us home for my child to only get worse. Called the office and finally got a call back in the evening from a doc who actually listened to the symptoms. That doc made a guess at the diagnosis, but told us to come in the next day for an exam. Dr Martin has serviced my family since my niece was born 9 years ago. I took her to one of her Dr appointments for my sister and her husband one time and after conversing and seeing how knowledgeable and resourceful he was I said whenever I had children I would request him to be their pediatrician as well. He’s been my children’s pediatrician now since she was born 6 years ago. Great pediatrician, I recommend him to everyone.
