Took my 2016 wrangler in to get the ignition immobiliser replaced which was broken during the installation of a remote starter two years prior. During this time, both of my keys functioned absolutely fine and I never had any other problems other than the fact that I could only start my vehicle with the remote due to the broken immobiliser.
