7 months ago I had shoulder surgery for a complete rotator cuff tear with a severely retracted tendon, 3 other partial tears labrum tear and more. Dr McLendon spent the time to go over all of my questions and to explain the possible outcomes. He knew I was active and wanted to get back to all of t. Dr. McLendon, PA Mackenzie, and Meghan are THE best team. Yesterday was the one year check up for my husband, who suffered a destroyed shoulder in a motorcycle accident. He also had an open wound that required every other day care by the team. We were never sure what range of motion would look like after a year, but here we are! Better than we expected! I had a total reverse shoulder replacement with Dr. Mclendon. He did an absolutely fantastic job. He is an amazing surgeon, is personable and communicates well.
Dr. McLendon and his entire team were amazing. From beginning to end I felt cared for. His PA is wonderful. The physical therapists were outstanding. They told me Dr. McLendon has the best recovery regime of all the surgeons they work with. If you need any kind of shoulder repairs he is the best. I am very happy I had the reverse replacement done. My life is back to normal.
I am very pleased with the services I received from Riverside Health. From the very beginning of my injury I was treated with the upmost care and respect. The treatment was outstanding.
