Dr. Beck is a quiet, non-effusive man. But he is caring, highly knowledgeable and an excellent surgeon in my opinion! He knows his stuff! He treated my knee pain for a complex tear of the meniscus on the left leg and then recommended an excellent physical therapy group (Select Physical Therapy on Euclid in Anaheim--Debbie Stempniak is the manager and a wonderful and compassionate therapist who also knows her stuff!), and he performed carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand. Nice guy. He spent quite some time with me. Examined me, showed me the x-rays and answered my questions. His assistant Vicky was patient, kind and respectful to me! I am confident that Dr. Beck is the best person for me!
He replaced my right hip and did a GREAT job. I also see him for me knee. I said I wanted injection in it and not steroid. He put it through right away and he has a very gentle touch. I had zero pain during it and FANTASTIC results. No Pain! 1st time in 10 years! He's great! I highly recommend. But if your looking for a surgeon that placates you he is not for you. As my Son said " If I have surgery HE"S the kind I want. I don't want someone who isn't serious and upfront with me", and I agree 100% . He's great.
I went to see Dr. Beck for a second opinion as my local orthopedist was suggesting a pretty invasive surgery for my heel. I have X-rays showing calcium growing around my Achilles‘ tendon that scrapes nerves as I walk. Upon arriving to his office, the MA took my symptoms down and told me the X-ray tech will be in shortly, instead the doctor came in.
