Really cool place, but service is very slow and not too bright! Worst was they allowed people to bring in their dogs. The dog walked and sat on the bar counter and on chair next to other patrons. Dogs in restaurants are disgusting! Leave your dogs at home and the management needs to ensure the health conditions of their restaurant is safe and free of dogs. I will return, but I will not stay if dogs are allowed.

I am a Chicago native and LOVE my deep dish pizza. Many places have I tried in the SF Bay Area. Paxti's is the best chicago syle deep dish pizza outside of Chicago. I have been a fan for many years now. I use to live near the Paxti's in Hayes Valley SF, then worked near the one in Palo Alto. I was so excited when I found out there would be one in San Carlos, near me again! I had delivery last night from the San Carlos location (opening day) and it was excellent!
Typically, i would not be a fan of deep dish pizza, but this made a fan out of me! BTW You can still get great thin crust here. The craft cocktails were great and bartenders professional.
SUPERB customer service, drinks and food! Made my "Just Beat Cancer" celebration extra special by joining our party and providing the bubbly! You guys are great! You've earned my patronage! THANK YOU!!!
I want to start off my saying that the food is great from the Chicago style pizzas to the thin crust. The thing that motivates me to write the review is the delivery service. The last 3 times we had pizza deliver, it took more than 2 hours to get our food. By the time we got it, it was cold and we had to microwave it. I would understand if we had ordered pizza on a busy Super Bowl Sunday but on one occasion it was on a random Wednesday. If people don't mind getting cold pizza 2 hours later, than this is the place for you.
