Amazing! – Patty is an amazing pet caretaker. She absolutely loves all animals and is so patient. I feel very comfortable taking my little guy here while I'm away! We love Patty and her staff!

Excellent – Reilly, my Westie, has gone to Patty's for about 3 years now when mom is on vacation. He has a great memory and never hesitates to just walk right in without a look back. That tells me that he is very comfortable there when I am gone. He won't do that unless it is someplace he wants to be. Yes, Patty keeps a strict schedule for appointments, pick-ups and drop-offs but I personally appreciate that. She lives in a nice neighborhood and when she knows someone is coming she will isolated the other dogs to cut down on... read more

True dog-lovers – I've depended on Patty for years now to care for my Bichons. They have always been happy to go for a visit to her place. On the way there, as the car gets closer to her house, they wag their tails; they then go with her willingly when it's time for me to say "goodbye." When I pick them up, the true test is their relaxed demeanor and non-stressed attitude. They are happy to see me, but not so overly-excited that I'm worried our time apart has gone poorly for them.Yes, Patty has strict drop-off and pick-up ho... read more

Thank you! – Just wanted to send a thank you for again taking care of Missi. Missi is always excited about visiting you and that makes us happy. We had a good trip and always fun being back home.......other than this cold wet weather.

Stay away from this place!!!!! – Patty's house seemed like an ideal place to board my little Yorkie. The initial visit went fine although Patty was a little curt. I brought my dog to stay with her for 5 days. After dropping him off before my trip I happened to Google her to find some reviews that I thought would reassure me that I had made a good choice. Instead I saw warnings about Patty that were very troubling. So I decided to stop by her house on my way to the airport and not call ahead (as she demands you do, which is a... read more

Rude and Unprofessional – I met with Patty this evening with the understanding she was going to care for my three little dogs while I am out of town this weekend. I believed that I had a guaranteed reservation with her. This was a meet and greet appointment which was all about me being comfortable with Patty's services, not all about Patty looking for the ideal reservation or job, which suits her selfish needs. Patty was a big disappointment. She was first unfriendly when greeting me at the door. She told me she had space fo... read more

Business response:

Boarding is not confirmed over the phone which is why there is a home visit first. There was a very full house and her dogs are aged and fragile. It wasn't a good fit. Small dogs can be managed on a harness. I understand that dogs mark which is why I use an oder remover. I do not crate dogs and they do not bark incessantly. They do bark when strangers come to visit which is normal. I have a great deal of patience with dogs, however, not with people who come to ridiculous conclusions.

BIG WARNING – After our trip & leaving our little dog with Patty for 5 days I should have listened to my gut feeling before I left. I met with Patty at her house and went over feeding, sleeping arrangements, etc. When we came the morning to drop the dog off Patty acted like I hadn't told her anything. She was reluctant to let my husband see her house, although I insisted because he wasn't with me at the initial meeting. She was very rude. The dog didn't eat what I had left and Patty fed her raw food which made her very ill. ... read more

Rude, unprofessional service – I have to agree with these last few bad reviews. I tried Patty's Precious Pets and had a very similar experience. Please excuse the length, but my experience was so bizarre and I feel like I need to fully warn people. This was more than a year ago and I still think about the horrible service I received here. I was initially excited about finding an in-home dog boarding option so close to my home. I met with Patty at her house a couple of days before my trip and brought my dog along. She told me... read more

Business response:

No confusion on Patty's part! The dogs would not be in the yard because it was "POURING rain" There is a covered porch with a bench where everyone leaves their dog's belongings for a short time while the dogs are being introduced. Dogs bark when someone is at the door which makes conversation impossible since there are several dogs barking at once. If you want to talk it is much easier to do so when you phone 10 minutes ahead. Always happy to answer your questions or concerns.

Dog's nightmare – We used her service once about two years ago. I'm writing this now because my husband and I still talk about this place as our dog's nightmare. I agree with the person below about how unprofessional and rude Patty was. When we went there to pick up our dog, Patty said rudely, "Your dog was barking at night, and I couldn't sleep." We were shocked because our dog is not a barking one, and if she had really behaved that way, there is a reason. We used other dog boarding services, and she didn't behave that way... read more

Business response:

Mr & Mrs Larson, Monique did bark at night and I sleep in the room next to the dogs so that I know that they are safe. Many places won't tell you the truth or aren't near enough to hear them. I hardly think that this make this a horrible place. It happens that I was having a health problem when Monique was here and it was important for me to get enough rest. However that was 2 years ago, so I think it is rather neurotic of you to be complaining now. Get over it. Your dog's not perfect.
