The rent for my tiny tiny apartment is hilariously high (laugh so you don't cry), but that's unfortunately standard at this time in Chicago. I do wish they would use our money to repair/replace the rooftop deck so we at least have that amenity to look forward to for the price. Anyway, giving this place 5 stars because our building engineer, Arnel, is TOP NOTCH. This building is truly in such a wonderful spot, I recently moved here and am just a block away from the grocery store & just walking distance from the train. The building manager Eldisa is fantastic and always responds quickly whenever I have an issue or question he has been so great! The building recently updated the hallways with new flooring & lighting and it looks fantastic. I definitely recommend this building to anyone looking for a studio or 1 bedroom apartment in a great location.

I lived in the building, in a studio unit, for 2 and a half years and had a great experience. Beal Properties gets a lot of bad reviews but frankly your experience will be entirely dependent on who your building manager is. Tony was amazing, but unfortunately left — building managers since then have been okay. But the building is a great location, units are renovated, and I never had an issues getting maintenance issues taken care of. Edit: the new building manager Brian is meh This building is a wonderful place to live. Updated units with Granite counter tops but the real reason this place rocks is because of the building manager Tony. He really cares about each resident and always responds quickly!
