Warning about Patriot Paving I’ve never publicly dinounce a business before and I really hoped it wouldn’t come to this — but I feel like I need to share our experience so others don’t go through the same headache. Patriot Paving completely failed to follow through on their work and treated us with total disrespect as customers. They got us on the hook by saying sealcoating was included for free in our contract — but when it came time to do it, they tried to charge us extra. Pat and the squad crushed a pretty big project in 2 days. Buried and installed 2 sump drain lines underneath the corner of my driveway and out deep into the woods of my yard. Completely ripped up my cracked old driveway and laid perfectly smooth new asphalt. Edged perfectly with my brick walkway and garage. Kids have a nice smooth driveway to scooter and bike on. Very honest and fair pricing, solid dude.
I hired Patriot for a new driveway and a new retaining wall with precast reinforced concrete blocks. The wall was installed over the property line and i was charged $4k more to have it moved. Then while waiting for the driveway install, the building inspector came and said no permit was ever pulled. That led to finding out Patriot hired his buddy who didnt even have a contractor license. Had a grassy area in my side yard that we parked two cars on. Overtime the depressions in the dirt were causing issues with drainage so I made the decision to have it paved. I called three different Paving companies and Pat was the only one to respond immediately. He showed up that same day and gave me a free estimate.
