He's an excellent surgeon, but not always very pleasant in the office. Also, he said a couple times that a third of his shoulder replacement patients don't need anything stronger than acetaminophen for pain relief. I've deal with serious pain issues at various times in my life, and found that statement untrue. Maybe you'll be one of his one third patients, but if not, you may have very serious pain for four to six weeks after the surgery. After that, it is good, but...
He did a reverse should replacement on my right shoulder which had complications. He did an excellent job and as a result I am gaining back my mobility and have a very little scare. Very pleased with both him as well as his PA, Jim Roswell.
My severely arthritic right shoulder was replaced in 2018, and just recently my left shoulder. The right shoulder-which required a bone graft-is fully functional. I am extremely pleased with the result, and fully expect the same result with the left shoulder after rehabilitation is complete. I highly recommend Dr. St. Pierre.
After years of playing competitive sports and golf, my right shoulder area had multiple injuries including torn rotator cuff in both front and back, significant arthritis, torn long bicep tendon and bone spurs. He successfully performed a reverse shoulder replacement, repaired the front rotator cuff and the long bicep tendon. I no longer have any pain! Great bedside manner. If you are looking for a great Orthopedic Surgeon, he is the one you need to see.

Dr st Pierre replaced both of my shoulders. He and his PA are a great team and I highly recommend them. They clearly enjoy and take pride in the work that they do
Dr. St Pierre did a shoulder replacement in May 2018. It was my second replacement and I had the best and fastest recovery. I wish he had done the first replacement. Totally the best experience having him do this surgery. I highly recommend him.
Dr St Pierre performed a reverse shoulder replacement on me Dec 2016. I had an uneventful recovery and was riding my very tame horse in 5 months, hitting tennis balls with ball machine and serving in 9 months and golfing 9 months. I did all the exercises he gave me religiously and have had no pain since about the 7th day after surgery. Real pain only lasted 4 days, then just something to sleep.
Thanks to Dr. St. Pierre’s excellent care, I was able to keep my shoulder and. It have a replacement after a serious break. I trust him completely and highly recommend him.
