I saw him twice and he was a bit arrogant both times. I heard he is an excellent surgeon, but he failed to listen to me. He said I needed a shoulder replacement, but my PT thought it was a bicep tendon problem. I went to another shoulder surgeon who ordered an injection into the bicep tendon and I am mostly pain free! Yes, I do have some shoulder arthritis that causes occasional aches, but that awful spasm pain is gone! I am glad I found the courage to seek a second opinion. Dr. Zietz is an Excellent Ortho Surgeon! He repaired a mimeniscus tear in my right knee. Then a couple of years later, he performed a complete shoulder replacement for both shoulders over a 2 year period. It felt like a miracle. No more pain! He was very clear in explaining the surgical procedures, scheduled the operations quickly, and I healed very fast. My range of motion and abilities are better than I had expected. I was sent by my work due to an injury while working. On both knees at different times.After doing all the preliminary stuff, heat,ice pack, shots. It was determined that I needed arthroscopic surgery. With little success on either knees. After knees got too bad and too painful it was decided to have a total knee replacement.
