Our experience with PL homes has been nothing short of a nightmare. Please, if considering, go elsewhere. Once the contract is signed, they will cease contact. Calls, texts, emails go unanswered. You're completely left out of anything happening with YOUR home. Paid upgrades never received. Poor quality work and many issues with damage. Anytime you are having a home built there are unexpected challenges that arise. We are thrilled with the final product and would recommend Patrick Long Homes. They were flexible and took the time to ensure that our vision was made a reality. Jason and the team took the time to work with us through the process and we couldn’t be happier.
We had a great experience working with Jason to help design our home since we required an in-law suite. Home building can be stressful but Jason walked us through each step of the way with our design. He gave good recommendations when we were stuck and was easy to get a hold of when we had questions. The only thing I wished we had more of was better communication once we were under construction with what to expect and what our schedule looked like. Overall, we are happy. My dream has always been to build a house once we were debt free. As location was important to us in our commute to work after previously being 45 min away. We had the choice between Ryan Homes & Patrick Long Homes. We originally was suppose to break ground July 9th, but didn't break ground until October 14th, this was due to township delays not builder so we were OK with that. I recommend you steer clear of Patrick Long Homes. I've given them every opportunity to finish fixing things that were noted on my closing/occupancy checklist. It's been 3 years now. Broken promise after broken promise after broken promise .... in writing even. Patrick Long, Karen Long, Jason Speight and David ... it doesn't matter, they'll all tell or email you what you want to hear and then never follow up if it is going to cost them money or time to complete.
