Listens and respects patient's ideas and opinions, explains his reasoning on treatment options. Unfortunately he's retiring, but has referred me to another oncologist whom I like well and have faith in her capabilities.

Dr. Moran is exceptionally good doctor who cares for his patients. His deep knowledge of the subject and friendly demeanor make you very comfortable. Dr. Moran deserves the highest mark (unfortunately the max is 5 stars).
Good follow up visit, however his assistant didn't get back to me with my 2 questions.
Cancer is emotionally and physically difficult not only on the individual, but the entire family. Dr. Moran is very thorough, takes his time and looks at each patient as an individual. You leave his office with all your questions answered and actually feel okay about this horrible disease.
Intimidation is the tactic Dr. Moran uses to get his patient to undergo radiation and chemotherapy, with no regard for his patient's feelings or concerns about what it will do to their body. Just get 'er done. On more than one occasion, Dr. Moran was unprofessional and inappropriate to me with his comments. For example, when I disagreed with him. Dr. Moran barked at me saying, "You are going to die and experience a painful death if you don't do radiation and chemotherapy!!" Is this the mark of a doctor in whom I should trust... read more
