Dr Godwin takes care of my entire family. He is the kindest man. I love his office staff too. They all make me feel like I am part of the family.
Dr Godwin has been our family doctor for years, He really listens to our concerns then discusses possible options and treatments. This doctor is very respectful to patients, my four year old loves him as he is great with children as well.
Love Dr. Godwin When my son was born with multiple defects that were not determined at ultrasound, it was Dr. Godwin who was the on call peds at the hospital, and he diagnosed my son with a rare condition and advised us accordingly. It has been 13 years and I still will not see anyone else. Yes, there are long waits for walk ins, but when it is all said and done, I would rather have a doctor that I trusted.
North State Medical Ctr -Unprofessional Staff Doctors & Nurse Beverly are GREAT; the rest of the staff (front desk) are NOT friendly or helpful at all. They never smile and often forget to place your file in the proper place. When they answer the phones they dont even sound nice. They are the first people you see or speak to. Not a good first impression for North State Medical Center. I will be taking my family back to our old doctor an hour away. Theres a lot to be said for a friendly staff.
Great office hours and good service. I just had to comment about "walk-ins". Yes, if you have an appointment you will most likely be seen before a walk in. Walk-ins are a luxury and not all primary care physicians accept them, and just a side note: If you "walk-in" and ask to see the first physician or PA available, you will shorten your waiting time tremendously. I too enjoy Dr. Godwin's services, but walk-ins are just that...unplanned visits. Overall, I wouldn't take my children anywhere else.
Doctor Godwin is the greatest When my daughter was born eleven years ago i was with another doctor but I was dissatisfied so I changed to Dr Godwin I have been very satisfied since then There is a long wait but that has since changed they have new doctors and the wait is not terribly long now
Doctor Godwin is the Best in the Area! Doctor Godwin in the best in the area! He really loves and cares about his patients! My kids will not see anyone else!
Long Long Wait I had gone to North State Medical since I was born (so for over 20 years). We absolutely LOVE the doctors and nurses however in the past few years they have become understaffed and we would have to wait for hours to be seen. Which is not what you want to be doing when you are sick and just want to be at home in bed. I would call for appointments and be told "we do not take appointments you will just have to walk in". First Rate Doctor Dr. Godwin goes above and beyond the call of duty. He is one of the best doctors a girl could ask for. My daughter loves him also. My daughter has had alot of visits to him since she started "K" and he help ease all the scared feelings by taking her mind off of being sick. He is a great doctor for people of all ages. I would recommend him to everyone.
