Very disappointed with Dr. Alix’s “care”. I had scheduled a last minute appointment earlier this year at Optum and unfortunately Dr. Alix was the only one available. His front desk called me the day of & let me know that we could cancel the scheduled appointment if I wish & Dr. Alix would just refill an antibiotic prescription that I was previously prescribed by another doctor. Great doctor! I never feel rushed during visits. He actually listen and explain things clearly. Overall, a great experience.
Dr. Alix is shady in my opinion. He isn't my doctor however he was assigned to me for a home visit through Kaiser after being released from Kaiser hospital. He said that I only have days/weeks to live due to kidney failure. My primary kidney doctor said days ago that I didn't need emergency D treatment. Dr Alix pushed hospice to myself and my daughter like a used car salesman.
