In the summer of 2024 I had Squamous Cell Carcinoma removed from my left ear. In March of 2025 I was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma Metastasized and had a tumor on my left parotid gland with lymph nodes affected in my neck. I was referred to Dr, Patrick Morgan at EVMS ENT. I was told by other ENT Professionals that I was with the right group and the right surgeon and that I was in good hands. I cannot say enough about Dr. Morgan and his team. He went above an beyond to answer all of my questions and make sure that testing was done prior to surgery to avoid any complications. His skill is amazing, my scar is barely noticeable 2 weeks out, and I had little to no pain following surgery. His team followed up with me the night of my surgery while I was at home to make sure I was doing ok and give a few extra post op instructions instead of relying on the hospital to do that.
I told Dr Morgan he had a gift. I was surprised to awaken with my voice. I knew I would have a voice, but I thought it would be quiet, low and would come back as I healed. It was normal, healing has been quick. The other Doctor on his team was awesome also. Nurses in the pre-surgical area. And nurses on floor, one from Ghana and one from the Philippines were awesome also. Please consider this team if you are in need of Thyroid surgery as I was. I am great full our paths crossed.
Dr.Morgan and his team were very attentive to my needs.Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing help with ENT proceedures.
