I went for a follow up pap smear and was totally discounted by the Nurse Practitioner. She could not perform the proceedure after trying 3 times. She said it was good enough even though she could not enter the cervix and dismissed my concern. She followed up with a phone call saying that all was well even though I had tested positive for HPV and had a previous LEEP saying it was my "Mentality" that was the problem? How can you get a result if you could not perform the simple pat test?
