After searching online for a good place to get an oil change, this Meineke Car Care Center was recommended to me. I had never been here, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Oak Lawn Meineke location. Excellent service!! They showed me the problem on my car before they started service. I did not have a appointment, I just stopped in because my brake light came on, they took a look within minutes of my arrival.
I have owned my 20 year old classic convertible for the past 10 years. I took my car there to be worked on many times before Meineke purchased the business. Each time I took it there it ran better than when I brought it in. There was a trust factor with the previous owner. To make a long story short, I brought the car in for a new alternator, they did a through inspection of the car and 'discovered' a loose motor mount. $3,000.00 later the car was finished. Yesterday my prius 2009 got stopped in front of meinike Cicero Ave oak lawn. It took them 2 days to diagnose that the fuel pump of the car is not working and it will cost 3,865 to replace the fuel pump and fuel tank both. After a while they bring the cost to 2,800 which itself had created doubt in my mind. Considering it too expensive, I towed the car to my mechanic in addison and he within minutes identified that the car is running out of fuel.
