I was so impressed by the quality of care I received today at Patient First Germantown. Kyle kindly greeted me at the front desk and got me immediately registered. Very welcoming and personable. The nurse who took my vitals was very proficient and polite too. I came here because I was short of breath and needed to get an inhaler. I came to urgent care because I needed to receive meds immediately and my regular doctor only offers telehealth for same day appointments. The doctor called in a prescription to walgreens but there was a problem with it. Walgreens reached out, I reached out and this practice completely ignored us. 24 hours later I still do not have an inhaler. I live in Waldorf, and unfortunately, my experiences at the Patient First here have consistently been disappointing. The facility has felt dirty and unclean, and the wait times are ALWAYS extremely long. I recently happened to be in Germantown and went to the Patient First there, and the difference was unbelievable. It was cleaner, more organized, and the overall experience was so much better. Visit was timely, informative and provided sufficient instruction going forward. Definitely a much better alternative than the ER.
