The check in was quick..however. since my visit was minor. They waited til everyone was seen and left before getting to me. Which was unfair...others were seen after me and had already left. I spent 3 hours total which could have been reduced. Staff nurses were excellent. Update! On 2 recent visits..last one a few days ago..... ......It was a quick visit due to barely anyone in the waiting area but once service, nurse and physician were pleasant, professional and thorough. The wait time was very reasonable, the support staff was professional, and the doctor was courteous, transparent, and knowledgeable. My visit was extremely positive.
Considering I got to Patient First during a rush period, they still were efficient and I was seen in a reasonable amount of time. The Doctor was nice and she still made time for personal chat, which made my visit feel more intimate not like I was just at a hospital emergency room.
Absolutely cared for at every station!
Overall, I was impressed with the entire process. However, I wish that the Nurse Practitioner had been able to tell me the exorbitant cost of Plaxlovid and what I could do to heal or help myself with other alternatives. That way I would not have wasted time standing in line at the pharmacy only to find out that 1) the pharmacy would have to order the medicine, and 2) the Plaxlovid co-pay would between $258-500 depending on my insurance.
