I have yet to get a hold of a person and I have been trying for about six months now. Thankfully, I was able to get a hold of another advocate and got the help I needed. I am hoping these guys hire some more people.
I've had lifelong issues thanks to medical conditions I was born with. I have always struggled with the system. Finding and getting help, dealing with bills and insurance. When I contacted this group I thought they would help me with some of that. It's kind of how they position themselves. However, as I talked through my issues, my case manager just kept coming up with excuse after excuse why they couldn't help me. Good for patient advocacy as long as your not an employee in need of patient advocacy. They forget we are all someone patient even if your a patient working for them (the company comes first-- before the employee patient who is ill). Simply put.
I was diagnosed with IPF over 3 years ago. I had to close my business. I used up my savings, maxed out my credit cards. Could no longer afford my co-pay for my medication. PAF saved my life! I get to keep living! Thank you and God Bless this Foundation.
