I came from out of state with a letter from my physician stating what medications I need. The nurse practitioner refused to fill my prescriptions on the grounds that the doctor didn't want to prescribe one of the medicines. He isn't even willing to research the medicine to consider prescribing it. These people want me to go without the medicine I need because they aren't willing to prescribe it even though it is fully within their power to prescribe the medication. I was referred to a psychiatrist here just over a year ago but it’s finally gotten to the point to where I have to find somewhere else to go. I’m always at least 2 or 3 minutes early and I still end up waiting upwards of 20 minutes every single time.
