I just relocated to Long Beach and moved in to Pathways at Bixby Village, due in large part to the prime location, they accept pets, and the staff was and continues to be super friendly and helpful. The few maintenance issues I had when I moved in were taken care of the very same day. Their service team is top notch. The units are old (and it shows) and on the smaller side but are well maintained. My unit was super clean the day I moved in. First review: 1 star Bad management system. They messed up my credit. I paid all my bills on the first of each month and they reported me to credit bureau for unpaid bills. Don’t rent with them. Reviews 2 Note: First review was 1 star but after talking with management, they made it right to me. So, I change my 1 star to 5 stars.
Read to the end why I gave one star and why I would NEVER stay here again. But first, POSITIVES. Location is amazing, loved the location every single day. Although they have no staff on location anymore, remote staff responded very quickly to emails and phone calls, and they were nice people. Garden was well maintained, and trash was picked up regularly. Apts are very outdated and old, but still look okay. Maintenance did their best to fix everything quickly.
