I had 42 sessions of TMS with Dr. Yaqubi and his assistant Iris. I want to give a five-star shout out to both. As a result, I have now switched to Dr. Yaqubi for my medication management, as well. Several great things to say. The whole process was seamless. Dr. Yaqubi and his team navigate the insurance/Medicare system for approvals flawlessly. No hassles at all on my end. Iris, who was the technician for the TMS was awesome. She had to see me just about every weekday for eight weeks. Yet, each and every time she was always ... read more

Great experience with Spravato treatment for TRD here. Beautiful environment to contain ketamine sessions both the external environment and providers' support. The psych (Dr. Yaqubi) can even help you set intentions and plan integration work and help you shape your sessions to get the most benefit from them. They listened to what I needed and acted on that information (imo the definition of "trauma-consiousness" but also just nice for anybody).

I've been treating with Dr. Yaqubi since 2022. It's not an exaggeration to state that I'm in a better place mentally than at any other time in my life. I began seeing him as my challenges became overwhelming and adversely affecting my life. With his expertise and compassion, he's helped me feel comfortable in my own skin, feel better about myself, boosted my confidence, and improved my self-worth. My relationships are stronger and deeper, and I had my first flight in 16 years. Louis Bruno

This small, boutique practice in Berkeley offers truly patient-focused care that stands in stark contrast to the clinical, impersonal vibe of many Bay Area providers. Dr. Yaqubi is exceptionally patient, compassionate, and genuinely has your best interests at heart. His practice blends personalized medication management, psychotherapy, and cutting‑edge treatments like Spravato (esketamine) and TMS in a warm, comfortable, and safe environment. Iris, the medical technician and patient support specialist, is an absolute gem—kin... read more
