Billing here is atrocious. I am very on top of my bills since facilities love to double or in this case triple charge for services. I contacted my insurance, the facilities that completed my procedures, and PBM via email, phone, and physical mail. I even provided a chart that I build from excel in addition to my letter fully covering the CPT codes, insurance claims, dollar amounts, etc. so that anyone could piece together the issues. I've read all the reviews for Pathologists Bio-Medical Lab (PBML) and their billing department, and I think our experience tops them all. My wife had a procedure in Apr 2024 and PBML performed the analysis. In Jan. 2025 we received a bill for $29,464.88. We had a conference call with our insurance carrier and PBML to determine what it was all about and were told it was in error and to forget it. In March we received the same bill. Received a bill 4 months after my date of service for labs that were not even related to my chief complaint. These labs were either ordered by mistake or were suppose to be ordered for another patient. Called the company to inform them and requested they contact the ordering provider or open up an investigation. Their response, “We can’t help you. We can put a payment hold on your account for 45 days but then you will be sent to collections.” Worst customer service ever!

If you get a bill from them, do not pay it. They will give you the run around forever and never supply any supporting documentation. They have my name associated with another address and this appears to be someone else's bill.
